Meet Alice

Alice is a happy, thriving four-year-old who loves dancing, princesses, holidays — and plenty of cheese and ice cream!

But life hasn’t always been so easy. After years of unexplained fevers and other symptoms, Alice was diagnosed with very early onset inflammatory bowel disease (VEO-IBD).

The diagnosis was devastating for her family. CICRA provided them with support material and helped them feel less alone by connecting them with another parent who understood what they were going through, providing reassurance and hope for the future.

Today, with the right treatment, medical care and support, Alice is thriving. She goes to school, dances, performs in shows and enjoys being a happy, active four-year-old.
